Favorite Place: Tokyo, Japan

One day I would love to visit Tokyo, to sample their car culture, as I have idolized it since I saw Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift. I have learned that most of that movie was not filmed in Japan as you are led to believe. I have come to know true Japanese car culture from a multitude of different medias.

    The world of Japanese myths and legends (ancient and modern and in-between) is AMAZING, Nic, with so many great resources online too, so maybe you will do a Japan-inspired project for this class! I'm sure there must be ways to do a mash-up of car culture and the Japanese supernatural world! Some ideas at Wikipedia: Japanese Mythology Portal

Week 6 Story: The Thief

 There was once a great king on the planet Nimbus Nine, his riches were so vast that the banks could not hold them. He sought for an idea to keep his riches safe and polled his closest advisors. The chief architect presented him with a grand vault that touched the clouds and went as far as the eye could see. The king liked this plan and proceeded with it. He forced all his people to work on the vault, even the architect was forced into manual labor! The architect was angered by this and installed a secret passage right to the heart of the vault. The key was a retinal scan that opened a door from the sewers underneath the city. Before he could use this to avenge deeds done against him he was diagnosed with stage four cancer.
