I am excited to reread the stories of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, I read them in the past for a humanities class. There are so many lessons and ways to think of things hidden in these stories, some are hidden so deep in takes many readings to eventually discover.

I was surprised to find that the character Puss in Boots from Shrek, is loosely based on a real-world story character told in Lang 1. Weeks 7 & 9 will be interesting as I expressed my earlier fascination of Japanese History and Culture.
"Puss in Boots" from European Stories

I choose this photo because to this day I thought that Puss in Boots was just a silly character from Shrek, but to see that he is a real character from European Storytelling is a shock.
